Stampin’ Up! Sweet Bugs Love You Lots Card

Happy Wednesday Stampers & Crafters! I’m wrapping up this week with the Sweet Bugs Love You Lots Card! This is the last card in my Weekly Card Class Kit To Go. This playful project features the Sweet Bugs Bundle and the Cute As A Bug Designer Series Paper, and it’s designed as an easy fun fold card that looks extra special without being complicated.

Sweet Bugs Love You Lots Card Details

I started with an Old Olive card base, which sets the tone for this garden-inspired design. For the inside panel, I adhered a scenic pattern from the Cute As A Bug Designer Series Paper. I love using a full scene on the inside of a fun fold card—it creates such a delightful surprise when the card is opened.

For the front panel, I chose a different coordinating scene from the same designer paper and adhered it to the card base. Mixing and matching the scenes really brings this card to life and keeps the design cohesive.

Next, I die cut the adorable marching ants directly from the designer series paper using the coordinating die. These little critters add so much personality and movement to the card front. The sentiment was stamped in Poppy Parade Ink on a strip of Basic White card stock. I bannered one end and popped it up on the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals for extra depth.

To finish the front of the card, I added a few Lady Bug Garden Epoxy Shapes to both the card front and inside. Then I tied a double bow with Old Olive Baker’s Twine for a charming final touch.

For the inside I added a small panel of Basic White card stock, perfect for writing a note! I also die cut a small flower image from the DSP with the coordinating die. I adhered that to the inside with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
