Stampin’ Up! Sunshine & Tulips Sending Love Card

Happy Tuesday Stampers & Crafters! I’m sharing my second card in this week’s Card Class To Go featuring the Sunshine & Tulips Bundle. I am sharing a bright and cheerful design that is sure to make someone smile. NOTE: I’m highlighting our soon retiring colors as well!!

Today’s card was CASEd from the very talented Dawn Olchefske from DO Stamping With Dawn. She is such a creative demonstrator and I loved her layout so much that I had to recreate it with my own twist and color palette.

Sunshine & Tulips Sending Love Card Details

My color palette includes Basic White, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Shy Shamrock. These colors just scream sunshine and happiness. I started with a Thick Basic White card base. Then I embossed a panel of Shy Shamrock card stock with the Beautiful Patterns 3D Embossing Folder. The texture adds so much interest while keeping the design clean and fresh. I adhered that embossed panel to a layer of Basic White card stock.

Next, I stamped the leaves in Shy Shamrock Ink directly onto the panel. I used leftover tulips from yesterday’s card and colored them with Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. I love when I can use extra pieces from another project. It makes creating even more fun and efficient.

I adhered the tulips with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give them a little lift and dimension. Then I die cut Basic White card stock with the coordinating label die and stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink. I popped that up with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well.

To finish the card, I added a Peach Pie Bordered Ribbon bow to the front and a few Opal Rounds Assortment embellishments for that perfect touch of shine.
