Stampin’ Up! Woolly Friends Spring Card

Today I’m sharing the final card in this week’s Card Class Kit To Go featuring the adorable Woolly Friends Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This cheerful design is full of soft spring colors and sweet layered details that make it perfect for thank you cards, friendship cards, or just-because greetings. My color palette for this card includes Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, and Mossy Meadow. I started with a Daffodil Delight card base. Then I added a layer of Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper matted onto Old Olive card stock. For even more texture and interest, I layered a pattern from the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper right on top.

Next, I die cut a piece of Basic White card stock using the Stylish Shape Dies. I stamped the grass and sentiment in Old Olive Ink. Then I added the flowers stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink. Using the two-step stamping method, I filled in the leaves with Mossy Meadow Ink and the flowers with Daffodil Delight for a soft, coordinated look.

I mounted the stamped panel onto Daffodil Delight card stock and popped it up on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals for added dimension. To finish off the card, I added a few Tiny Bee Trinkets for a touch of sparkle and tied a double bow with Old Olive Linen Thread.
