Stampin’ Up! Radiant Sunflowers Double Accordion Fun Fold

TGIF Stampers & Crafters! Today I’m sharing a fun fold that definitely has a little WOW factor! It’s a Double Accordion Fun Fold, and I’m featuring the beautiful NEW Radiant Sunflowers Bundle. I’ve been having so much fun creating with Radiant Sunflowers this week. So, of course, I had to finish the week by turning those gorgeous sunflowers into a Fun Fold!

For this card, I started with a Crushed Curry card base. Then, I scored it several times to create the accordion-style folds. I also added a smaller folded panel across the front. That gives this card its fun, dimensional design.

A Little Fall Sunflower Fun

The warm colors on this card make me think of those gorgeous late-summer days when fall is just starting to sneak in. I used Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Early Espresso for my die-cut pieces. Then, I added the sunflower and leaf elements to the smaller front panel.

The sunflower centers are attached with Mini Glue Dots. Meanwhile, the flowers are popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals for some extra dimension. I stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze Ink on Basic White cardstock. I used one of the Nested Essentials Dies to create the sentiment piece. And there’s even a little surprise inside! I stamped the butterflies in Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry Ink. Then, I positioned the Basic White panel so it stays hidden behind the smaller flap when the card is closed.

Of course, I couldn’t call it finished without a little extra detail. Therefore, I added a double Linen Thread bow and a few Radiant Gems for just the right amount of sparkle.

Don’t Let This Fold Fool You!

This card may look complicated when you first see it opened up. However, it’s really all about scoring, folding and adding that smaller flap in the right spot. The Crushed Curry card base measures 5-1/2″ x 11″. It is scored at 1-3/4″, 3-1/2″, 5-1/4″ and 7″. The smaller flap starts with a 3″ x 6″ piece scored at 3″. Once you see how it comes together, I think you’ll want to try one yourself!
