Stampin’ Up! Woolly Friends Happy Card

Today I’m excited to share the first card in this week’s Card Class To Go featuring the adorable Woolly Friends Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This sweet design is called the Woolly Friends Happy Card, and it is full of charm, soft color, and a touch of sparkle.

Woolly Friends Happy Card Details

For this card, I worked with a color palette of Strawberry Slush and Basic White, with small accents of Pool Party and Petal Pink. The combination keeps the card soft, cheerful, and perfect for spring, birthdays, or just-because greetings.

I started by matting two different patterns of the 2025–2027 In Color Designer Series Paper onto my card base. These patterns add great texture and visual interest while still letting the focal image shine.

Next, I stamped the body of the sheep in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White square panel. To give the sheep a little more dimension, I lightly added Pool Party Stampin’ Blend around the body. This subtle shading helps the image pop off the white cardstock.

For the sheep’s head, I stamped it separately in Tuxedo Black Ink and punched it out using the coordinating Woolly Friends Builder Punch. I colored the ears and poll with Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend, then adhered the head to the body using Stampin’ Dimensionals for extra dimension.

The sentiment was stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink and mounted onto a panel of Strawberry Slush cardstock. I popped this entire panel up with Stampin’ Dimensionals to bring the focal image forward on the card front.

To finish the card, I added a few 2025–2027 In Color Flat Pearls for a touch of sparkle and tied a small bow using Strawberry Slush Faux Linen Ribbon. These final details pull everything together and add just the right amount of texture and shine.
