Stampin’ Up! Radiant Sunflowers Enjoy Card

Today I’m sharing another card from this week’s Card Class Kit To Go featuring the Radiant Sunflowers Bundle. Check out my Radiant Sunflowers Enjoy Card!

For this card, I paired the bundle with the beautiful Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper. I used three different patterns to create the background. I love how the mix of florals and stripes adds interest without taking away from the die-cut sunflower.

My color combination is Golden Glow, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie. These warm, earthy colors work beautifully with the Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper.

Creating The Background

I started with a Golden Glow card stock base. Next, I cut three different patterns from the Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper. I matted the three pieces onto Very Vanilla card stock. Then, I adhered the combined panel to a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. After that, I adhered the entire layered panel to the Golden Glow card base. Using several DSP patterns is an easy way to add extra color and texture to a card. Plus, it’s a great way to show off more of your favorite paper!

Creating the Sunflower

Next, I die cut Golden Glow, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie card stock with the sunflower, leaf and vase dies. I assembled the sunflower and vase pieces. Then, I adhered the finished arrangement to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I love how the little sunflower arrangement coordinates with the sunflowers in the Designer Series Paper.

Adding The Sentiment

Next, I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow Ink on Very Vanilla card stock. I adhered the sentiment to a panel of Golden Glow card stock. Then, I added it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally, I tied a bow with the Mossy Meadow & Very Vanilla Gingham Ribbon. I added the bow below the sentiment and finished the card with a few Radiant Gems. The gingham ribbon adds just the right touch of country charm to this sunflower card!
