Stampin’ Up! Pop Up Petals Friend Card

Hello Stampers & Crafters! Today I’m sharing the second card in this week’s Card Class To Go featuring the Pop Up Petals Bundle. This bundle is perfect for creating bold floral arrangements with a lot of personality. I love how bright this card feels. The color palette of Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, and Poppy Parade really makes the stamped flowers pop. Check out my Pop Up Petals Friend Card!

Pop Up Petals Friend Card Details

My card starts with a Daffodil Delight card base. I added a piece of the Brights Designer Series Paper and layered it onto Pool Party cardstock. This adds depth and color right away. Then I embossed a panel of Daffodil Delight cardstock using the Gathering Leaves 3D Embossing Folder. I layered that panel on Pool Party cardstock too.

Next I stamped the vase in Pool Party Ink on Basic White cardstock. I die cut it with the matching die from the Pop Up Petals Dies. I stamped the outline flowers in Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I stamped the solid flower images in Poppy Parade Ink. I stamped the flower centers in Daffodil Delight Ink. Next I colored the leaves with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends for a fresh and bright look. After that I die cut the flowers using the coordinating die.

I die cut Basic White cardstock with a Textured Notes die and stamped the sentiment in Poppy Parade Ink. I added all the pieces to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. This gives the entire card great dimension and makes the flowers stand out.

To finish the card I tied a double bow using White Bakers Twine and added a few Pearls of Beauty. These small details add a soft shimmer that completes the design.
