Today I’m sharing my second card this week using the One More Year Stamp Set. This card is part of my Weekly Card Class To-Go and highlights a cozy design with rich colors and classic detail. And it still brings that “little bit of sassyness”. Check out the One More Year Birthday Card for today!

Card Details

The card starts with a Petal Pink card base, offering a soft and warm foundation. I selected a deep Cherry Cobbler pattern from the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper. I adhered the DSP to an Early Espresso card stock panel. This pairing adds contrast and depth while keeping the tone natural and inviting.

To build the focal point, I used the Textured Notes Dies to cut out rectangles in both Petal Pink and Basic White cardstock. On the Basic White piece, I stamped the charming wine and cheese image from the One More Year Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored it in with the following Stampin’ Blends: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wheat, Pool Party & Ivory. And I stamped the little sassy sentiment in Cherry Cobbler Ink.

After layering the Basic White rectangle over the Petal Pink die-cut, I tied a Petal Pink Ribbon around the panel for a touch of elegance. I also added a White Baker’s Twine bow on top of the ribbon for a soft, handmade finish. To bring a little shimmer and texture, I embellished the card front with a few Blooming Pearls.

Finishing Touches

For the inside of the card, I added a second “sassy” sentiment. I stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink and added a coordinating strip of the same Splendid Autumn DSP to tie it all together.
