Welcome to my Weekly Card Class To-Go! I’m kicking off this week’s card class with a bold and playful birthday card featuring the One More Year Stamp Set! If you love celebrating birthdays with a bit of sass and style, you’re going to love this one. Today I created this One More Year Just For You Card!

A Snarky Birthday Card with Sweet Details

This handmade birthday card starts with a Lost Lagoon card base, which provides a rich, elegant backdrop for the fun elements to come. I matted a piece of the Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper on Pool Party card stock, creating a soft yet festive layer. The gold foiling in the DSP adds just the right amount of glam!

Next, I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut both Lost Lagoon and Basic White card stock circles. On the Lost Lagoon circle, I stamped a cheerful confetti image to give the background some birthday sparkle. Then I stamped the birthday cake on the Basic White circle and brought it to life with Stampin’ Blends in these playful colors: – Daffodil Delight – Pretty In Pink – Pool Party – Lost Lagoon.

Embellishments That Pop

To give the card some texture and interest, I wrapped Gold Twisted Thread behind the white circle and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I just love how the gold thread complements the foiled paper in the background!

The sentiment “Just For You” (from the Labeled With Love Stamp Set) was stamped on Basic White card stock and cut out using the Stylish Shapes Dies, tying everything together with crisp, clean edges.

The Best Part? The Inside!

Now for my favorite part—this stamp set’s snarky sentiment! Inside the card, I stamped “Happy Birthday. Now back to me.” using Lost Lagoon ink on a clean panel of Basic White card stock. I added a small strip of the same DSP along the side to give it a finished look. It’s cheeky, unexpected, and guaranteed to make the birthday recipient smile (or laugh out loud!).
