Happy Monday! All this week I’m featuring the Gone Fishing Stamp Set & Dies for my weekly Card Class Kit. In preparation of Father’s Day – I wanted to create some cards that you could make for the special men in your life! Today I created this Gone Fishing Retirement Card. My card starts with Basic Black card stock. I matted two different patterns of the Tartan Foil Designer Series Paper to Smokey Slate card stock.
Next I die cut the largest Stylish Shape Die in Basic White card stock. I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I stamped the water image in Tuxedo Black Ink.
Next I stamped the lure in Smokey Slate Ink and then stamped off the inside once in Real Red. I stamped the fish in Tuxedo Black Ink and stamped the inside in Real Red Ink.
To finish it off I adhered the matted panels to the front with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered the fish and lure to the circle die with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the circle to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a little “bling” with the Basic Gray & Smokey Slate Dots.
