Stampin’ Up! Fern & Flora Friend Card

Greetings Stampers & Crafters! This week’s first Card Class To Go design features the beautiful NEW Fern & Flora Bundle (avail May 5th) paired with rich color, elegant texture, and layered botanical details. This card combines Berry Burst, Secret Sea, and Old Olive for a bold floral look that feels both fresh and sophisticated. Check out my Fern & Flora Friend Card.

Fern & Flora Friend Card Details

I started with a Berry Burst card base. Then I embossed Basic White cardstock with the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder. This subtle textured background adds beautiful depth and gives the card a soft botanical feel. I matted the embossed panel onto Secret Sea cardstock and adhered it to the card base for a strong contrast.

Next, I added a strip of Moonlight Flora Designer Series Paper (avail May 5th) mounted on Berry Burst cardstock. This patterned paper brings in extra color and detail while tying the entire design together with its moody floral tones.

For the focal point, I die cut several fern images from Old Olive, Berry Burst, and Secret Sea cardstock using the coordinating dies from the Fern & Flora Bundle. Layering the die-cut ferns creates dimension and movement while keeping the design clean and elegant.

I die cut the label from Basic White cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst ink. The greeting was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals to add extra depth and help it stand out against the layered background.

To finish the card, I tied a bow with Secret Sea Faux Linen Ribbon and secured it with a Mini Glue Dot. A few Secret Sea Dew Drop Embellishments (avail May 5th) add just the right amount of sparkle to complete this elegant handmade card.
