Stampin’ Up! Stitched Stocking Christmas Cheers Card

Happy Monday Stampers & Crafters! Welcome to the first project in this week’s Card Class To Go featuring the beautiful Stitched Stocking Bundle! Today’s card is one that immediately stole my heart. I CASEd this beautiful design from the talented Heidi Collins of On Y Go! Stamping and customized it using products from this week’s class. Check out my Stitched Stocking Christmas Cheers Card!

The rich Peaceful Pine cardstock creates the perfect backdrop for a classic Christmas design. One of my favorite details is the die-cut snowflake border that adds beautiful texture while allowing the coordinating A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper to peek through. The quilt-inspired patterns in this paper are simply gorgeous and remind me of handmade Christmas quilts that have been treasured for generations.

To create the focal point, I layered two Stylish Shapes Dies with another pattern from the designer paper featuring a beautifully stitched Christmas tree. The Real Red frame adds the perfect pop of traditional Christmas color and really makes the tree stand out.

The finishing touches truly make this card shine. The Real Red & White Stitched Ribbon draws your eye down the center of the card, while the heat-embossed sentiment in WOW! White Embossing Powder adds a crisp, elegant finish. A few Pearls of Beauty provide just the right amount of sparkle without overpowering the design.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment and snowflake images in Peaceful Pine Ink to finish the card off!
