Stampin’ Up! Stitched Stocking Book Bind Fun Fold Card

TGIF Stampers & Crafters! Christmas in July continues with another edition of Fun Fold Fridays With Ann! Today I’m sharing a festive Book Bind Fun Fold featuring the beautiful Stitched Stocking Bundle. Come and check out my Stitched Stocking Book Bind Fun Fold card!

Although this card looks intricate, the Book Bind Fun Fold is actually very easy to create, making it perfect for stampers of every skill level. The card begins with an Old Olive cardstock base. For the book bind, I layered a coordinating pattern from the A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper onto Real Red cardstock. Before adhering the fold closed, I wrapped Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine around the spine twice and finished it with a simple bow for a cozy handmade touch.

The card front features a panel of Real Red cardstock embossed with the Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folder, adding beautiful texture behind the focal point. Next, I cut one of the quilt block patterns from the designer paper and centered it on the card front.

For the greeting, I die cut Basic Beige cardstock using the coordinating tag die and stamped “Merry Christmas” in Real Red ink. The sentiment was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals to add depth. Finally, I added a few Pearls of Beauty for just the right amount of sparkle.
