Stampin’ Up! Simply Leaves Thinking Of You Card

Who says leaves have to be for fall? For my final Simply Leaves Card Class Kit To Go project, I went in a completely different direction. Instead of traditional fall colors, I pulled out some of my favorite bright summer shades. Check out my Simply Leaves Thinking Of You card!

Hydrangea Hue, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lolly make such a cheerful combination. Even better, the leaves become the petals of one big, colorful flower! I started with a Basic White card base. Then, I embossed a panel of Lemon Lolly cardstock with the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel directly to the card base.

Next, I stamped the leaf image tone-on-tone. I used Hydrangea Hue, Coastal Cabana and Flirty Flamingo Ink on the coordinating cardstock colors. Then, I punched each image out with the Simple Leaves Punch. To create the flower, I arranged the punched leaves around the center. I gently curved the ends with my Bone Folder to give them a little extra dimension.

Next, I die cut Lemon Lolly cardstock with the smallest Stylish Shapes circle die. I placed the circle in the center of the flower and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the greeting, I stamped the sentiment in Hydrangea Hue Ink on Basic White cardstock. Then, I bannered both ends and adhered it below the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Of course, this bright card needed a few finishing touches! I added Iridescent Pearls to the flower center and scattered a few 2026–2028 In Color Butterflies across the card front. Finally, I added a Hydrangea Hue Bordered Ribbon bow.
