Happy Tuesday Stampers & Campers! Today I’m sharing the second card from this week’s Simply Leaves Card Class Kit To Go. This design has plenty of texture, rich color, and a fun ribbon trick too! Check out my Simply Leaves Thanks Cardd!

Simply Leaves Thanks Card Details

I started with a Very Vanilla card stock base. Then I embossed another panel of Very Vanilla with the Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I lightly ran my Crumb Cake Ink over the raised embossed design. This simple technique really brings out all that wonderful texture. I matted the embossed panel with Crumb Cake card stock before adhering it to the card base.

For the leaves, I stamped the three large designs on Very Vanilla card stock. I used Cherry Cobbler, Pecan Pie, and Lost Lagoon Inks for a warm but slightly unexpected color combination. Then I punched each leaf with the Simple Leaves Punch.

I stamped the two smaller leaves in Crumb Cake Ink and fussy cut them. After arranging the larger leaves, I adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I tucked the smaller leaves behind them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For the sentiment, I die cut Very Vanilla card stock with the banner die from the Fragrant Layers Dies. I stamped the greeting in Cherry Cobbler Ink and popped the banner up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Now for my favorite little trick! I colored Bubble Bath Faux Linen Ribbon with a Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend. Once it was dry, I tied it into a bow and added it beneath the sentiment. Finally, a few Earthy Matte Dots added the perfect finishing touch.

Inside Card Details

For the inside I just stamped a few of the leaf images in Cherry Cobbler Ink. It leaves room to write your own message!
