Stampin’ Up! Oh My Fright Trick or Treat Card

Happy Tuesday Stampers & Campers! It’s time for Card #2 from this week’s Oh My Fright Card Class Kit To Go, and today we’re adding some Pumpkin Pie and Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper! Come check out my Oh My Fright Trick or Treat card!

I started with a Pumpkin Pie card base. Then, I embossed a Basic White panel with the Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder. I layered it onto Basic Black cardstock before adhering everything to the card front.

Next came my favorite part of this card — that fun Halloween tag! I die cut both Basic Black cardstock and Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper with the tag die. Then, I layered the DSP tag over the Basic Black tag and tied Black Iridescent Ribbon through the top. I die cut the spooky tree and bats from Basic Black cardstock. I also die cut the swirly accent from Basic White cardstock. Then, I arranged the pieces on the tag and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For the sentiment, I stamped “Trick or Treat” in Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White cardstock. I layered it onto Pumpkin Pie cardstock and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the completed tag to the card front and added the die-cut bats around it. To finish everything off, I added a few Adhesive-Backed Bats, Ghosts and Dots.

For the inside, I added a strip of Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper and stamped “Happy Halloween” in Tuxedo Black Ink.

I love the mix of Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black and Basic White on this card. The Frightfully Fun DSP adds just the right amount of pattern without taking over the design. Remember you can get this week’s Card Class Kit To Go for FREE! Check out the details below!
