Stampin’ Up! Oh My Fright Boo Card

There’s something about a black-and-white Halloween card that I just love! Today I’m sharing Card #1 from this week’s Card Class Kit To Go featuring the Oh My Fright Bundle. I CASEd this from Su Mohr of Aromas & Art! This card has a spooky feel without being too scary. Those little ghosts floating around the bare black tree are just too cute! I started with a Basic Black card base. Then, I embossed a Basic White panel with the Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front. Next, I die cut the tree from Basic Black cardstock. I adhered it to the center of the embossed panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Then came the ghosts! I die cut three ghosts from Basic White cardstock and popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I love how the white ghosts almost blend into the embossed background until you notice them floating around the tree.

For the sentiment, I die cut Basic White cardstock with the Tile Garden Die. I stamped “Boo To You” in Tuxedo Black Ink and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Of course, this spooky tree needed a little sparkle! I added Sunset Sparkle Sequins to the branches. Then, I finished the front with a few Adhesive-Backed Bats.

For the inside, I added a black Swirls of Magic embossed strip and stamped “Happy Halloween” in Tuxedo Black Ink.
