Stampin’ Up! Greenery Lane Friendship Card

Happy Tuesday – thanks for visiting! Check out my 2nd card for this week’s Card Class To Go featuring the Greenery Lane Bundle. This card was CASEd from my talented Stampin’ Up! friend Patti Dolan of P.S. Papercrafts, and I absolutely loved recreating her beautiful design.

My card starts with a nature-inspired color palette of Pretty Peacock, Old Olive, and a soft splash of Crumb Cake. I started with a Pretty Peacock card base. Then I die cut a pattern from the Nature’s Walk Designer Series Paper using the largest Perennial Postage Die. I adhered it directly to the card front for instant texture and interest.

Next I die cut two leaves directly from the Designer Series Paper. Then I stamped additional leaves on Basic White cardstock with Old Olive & Pretty Peacock Inks. Once stamped, all of the leaves were die cut using the coordinating dies.

For the sentiment, I die cut Basic White cardstock using the small Perennial Postage Die. Then I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock Ink. Most of the leaves were adhered directly to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The final leaf was added to the sentiment panel, which I popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals for a bit of dimension.

To finish the card, I added a double Linen Thread bow for a natural touch. Don’t forget your “bling” I added a Sparkle Dot Essentials for a bit of sparkle.

For the inside I kept it simple. I stamped the leaves in Pretty Peacock Ink, stamping off to get different colors.
