Stampin’ Up! Easter Basket Spring Card

Happy Monday Stampers & Crafters. Today I’m sharing the first card from this week’s Card Class Kit To Go featuring the Easter Basket Bundle.
This card has such a sweet spring feel and is perfect for Easter or any springtime hello. Check out my Easter Basket Spring Card.

Easter Basket Spring Card Details

My color palette includes Pretty In Pink, Shy Shamrock, with a soft splash of Balmy Blue. I started with a Pretty In Pink card base. Next, I adhered a pattern of the Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper to a panel of Shy Shamrock cardstock. This adds texture and a fun seasonal pattern right away.

For the focal panel, I die cut Pretty In Pink and Shy Shamrock cardstock using the grass and flower dies from the Easter Basket Bundle.
I arranged the grass and flowers on a panel of Basic White cardstock and layered that onto Balmy Blue cardstock for a soft pop of color. The bunny is stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White cardstock. I colored the bunny using Crumb Cake and Pretty In Pink Stampin’ Blends to keep the look soft and springy. Then I added the grass to the bottom and adhered it to Balmy Blue card stock.

I stamped the sentiment in Shy Shamrock Ink on a strip of Basic White card stock and bannered the end. I adhered the elements to the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I tied Bubble Bath Faux Ribbon around the panel twice and tied a bow. Next I adhered the combined panel to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish the front off I added a few Easter Assortment embellishments because you can’t forget your “bling”!
