Stamp It Group Spring Fling Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp It Group Spring Fling Blog Hop! I’m Ann Verillo from Auburn, New York and you are visiting my blog Stamp With Ann! I love Spring especially after the long winters we get in Upstate New York. My favorite thing to see is Tulips popping up everywhere it just brings me so much joy! That’s why I chose to create a card using the Sunshine & Tulips Bundle. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with cheerful tulips and bright, happy colors.

Spring Fling Blog Hop Card Details

For my card, I used the Sunshine & Tulips Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This bundle is perfect for spring cards, Easter cards, and even just-because happy mail. I started with a Granny Apple Green card base. Next, I die cut Basic White card stock using the large tulip die. I colored the leaves with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.

Tip: Place a piece of Post-It Note paper under the leaves while coloring. This helps prevent any color transfer onto the white background and keeps everything clean and crisp.

I colored the tulips using Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends. Once colored, I popped the tulips up with Stampin’ Dimensionals to add depth and dimension to the card.

For the sentiment, I die cut Basic White card stock using the banner die from the Endless Love Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Easter Basket Stamp Set in Melon Mambo Ink and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish off the card front, I colored White Ribbon with a Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend and attached it with a Mini Dimensional. For a little extra wow, I added Pearls of Beauty to the center of each tulip.

Inside the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Sunshine & Tulips Stamp Set in Granny Apple Green Ink and added tulips stamped in Daffodil Delight to keep the design cohesive.

• Granny Apple Green – 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
• Basic White
  • 4-1/8 x 5-1/2 (for die cutting)
  • 3/4 x 2-1/2 (for die cutting banner)
  • 4 x 5-1/4 (for inside panel)
