I’m continuing this week crafting with the Beautiful Balloons Bundle. Today I created this Beautiful Balloons Graduation Card that was inspired by Connie Babbert of Inkspiredtreasures.com, you can see her card HERE!
Beautiful Balloons Graduation Card Details
Our local high school colors are Maroon and White so I used Merry Merlot which I know is retired but you can substitute with Blackberry Bliss! I started with a Merry Merlot base card stock. Next I layered a panel of Basic White to the front. Then I cut a strip of Bright & Beautiful DSP and added it on top. Then I cut a strip of Bubble Bath card stock and die cut it using the Beautiful Balloons fringe die.
I die cut the tag from the Beautiful Balloons Dies and cut it in half to form the balloon box. Next I stamped the balloons in Bubble Bath and Merry Merlot and die cut them out! I stamped the sentiment in Merry Merlot on one of the Balloons. I added all the balloons to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I added the balloon box with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly I die cut the Festoon Tails out with Merry Merlot card stock and adhered them to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. And of course you can’t forget some “bling” – Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins.
I finished off the inside stamping the sentiment from the Special Moments stamp set (retired) – you can substitute the sentiment using the Charming Sentiments stamp set!
