Stamp It Group New Years Theme Blog Hop

Hello & Welcome to our Stamp It Group New Years Theme Blog Hop! I’m Ann Verillo from Auburn, New York and you are visiting my blog Stamp With Ann. I love celebrating News Year Eve for 2 reasons first and foremost it’s my Birthday and second it’s just a lovely time to welcome in the New Year! Today I created this elegant New Years Eve card with the Snowy Wonder Stamp Set and the Iconic Imagery Dies!

My card starts with Basic Black card stock. I matted a panel of Silver Foil Sheets to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Next I die cut a Silver Foil Sheet strip with the long Irresistible Bloom Die. I adhered that to a Basic Black panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I snipped off the over hanging edges with my Paper Snips.

Next I die cut Silver & Gold Foil sheets with the large stars and hearts from the Iconic Imagery Dies. I also die cut the small hearts and stars with the same foil sheets. Then I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark in on the Basic Black Panel. I heat embossed it using the Wow Metallics Silver Embossing Powder.

Next I arranged all the heart and star die cuts on the panel and adhered the small ones with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the larger ones with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals! I adhered the completed panel to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Lastly I tied a double bow with the Gold Twisted Thread and adhered it to the front with a Mini Glue Dot.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Round We Go Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I stamped the stars and heart images in Wild Wheat Ink.

Card Measurements

Basic Black 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 & 4 x 5 1/4
Silver Foil 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 & 1 1/2 x 6 1/2; scraps for stars and hearts
Gold Foil scraps for stars and hearts
Basic White 4 x 5 1/4 (inside panel)
