There is no doubt about it I really love this Lovely In Linen Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up. Today’s card is a “thank you” card that I made for a special friend of mine. I will be mailing this card out this week to my friend and BTW who doesn’t love getting cards in the mail? Such a personal way to send a note of thanks!
I love how the colors work so well together – Sweet Sorbet and Night of Navy!
Instructions
- Start with Night of Navy card stock cut 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
- Cut Sweet Sorbet card stock layer to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and emboss with the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder, adhere to front with Stampin’ Seal
- Cut 3 strips of designer series paper 1″ x 4″, adhere to Sweet Sorbet layer with Stampin’ Seal
- Stamp the tag using Sweet Sorbet ink then cut out using the Lasting Label punch
- Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy
- Use the Lasting Label punch to cut out a label in Sweet Sorbet card stock
- Adhere both Lasting Label punch with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Add bow and solid faceted gems for some bling bling!
This card is very simple to make the hardest thing was to line up the strips of DSP. I laid the two outside strips first to position them and then added the middle one!
Lastly I used the DSP to make a coordinating envelope by adhering to the flap of the envelope. I always think that adds something special!
