Greetings Stampers & Crafters! I’m continuing to craft and create with the Garden Birdhouses Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! Today I made the cutest Garden Birdhouses Birthday Card!
I focused on Mint Macaron as the leading color for this card! I like how soft the color is and thought it was perfect for this birdhouse!
Garden Birdhouses Birthday Card Details
I started with Mint Macaron as my card base cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. Then I cut a piece of Basic White card stock to 5 1/4 x 4. Next I used the Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper and cut that to 5 1/8 x 3 7/8 and adhered it to the Basic White panel with Stampin’ Seal. Then I cut a piece of Mint Macaron card stock to 1 1/4 x 3 7/8 and embossed it using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. I used the Scalloped Contours Dies to cut a Basic White panel out and applied a bit of Balmy Blue Ink using a Blending Brush. Then I stamped the Birdhouse with Soft Suede Ink and the grass & flower images using Garden Green Ink stamped off. I colored the Birdhouse with Mint Macaron, Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends.
Next I used the All That Dies to cut a Mint Macaron label and stamped the sentiment in Mint Macaron Ink.Lastly I tied a double bow using Linen Thread and adhered it to the front with Mini Glue Dots. And you can’t forget the “bling”!!!! I used the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds. Next adhered the panel and sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals!!
Garden Birdhouses Birthday Card Inside
On the inside I stamped the tree branch image stamped in Mint Macaron and the little birdies stamped in Soft Suede and colored them in with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set with Daffodil Delight Ink.
