TGIF Stampers & Crafters! I’m finishing off this week with Fun Fold Cards. Today I created this cute Fun Fold Thanks Card! I always feel a bit intimidated by Fun Fold cards – but honestly after creating some this week I have to say they are not as complicated as I once thought!
All the measurements are listed below for this Fun Fold Thanks Card! I started with a Sweet Sorbet card base. Next I used the Flowers and More Designer Series Paper to incorporate on the sides and front of the card!
You can see from this view how the card is folded. Again pretty simple with a few score lines!
Before I burnished all my score lines I adhered the Flowers and More Designer Series Paper to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. It was much easier to assemble when the card is flat! Next I die-cut a piece of Sweet Sorbet card stock using the Scalloped Contour Dies. Then I cut a piece of Basic White card stock slightly smaller to adhere to the inside.
I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet Ink from the Around the Bend stamp set. Next I die-cut Balmy Blue and Crushed curry flowers out using the Around the Bend Dies. I also die-cut Garden Green leaves out also using the Around the Bend Dies. I adhered them to the front with the Fine Tip Glue Pen. The larger crushed curry flower I adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional! Of course don’t forget a little embellishments – I tied a White Bakers Twine bow and adhered some Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the center of the flowers!
I did add a panel of Basic White card stock to the back so that you can write a note!
Fun Fold Thanks Card Measurements
- Cut base card to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2 – score at 2″, 3 1/8″ , 5 3/8″ and 6 1/2″
- Cut two pieces of DSP to 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″
- Cut one piece of DSP for the center to 2″ x 5 1/4″
- Cut one piece of Basic White card stock to 2″ x 3 1/4″ for the inside of the Scalloped Contour panel
- Cut one piece of Basic White card stock to 2″ x 5 1/4″ for the back of the card
