Design A Daydream Congratulations Card

Happy Tuesday everyone. Today I continue my crafting with the Design A Daydream Congratulations Card. I’m using the Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!

I started with a card base in Basic White Card Stock that measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. Then I adhered a Basic White Card Stock panel measuring 5 1/4 x 4 to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals

I then used the Paper Trimmer to cut the following pieces of Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper.

1 x 5
1 1/2 x 4 1/2
2 1/4 x 4

I adhered the strips of DSP with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I used the Layering Circles Die to cut out a circle in Basic White Card Stock. I used the Designer Tag Dies to cut out two butterflies in Blackberry Bliss Card Stock. Before adhering the butterflies to the circle I used my Old Olive Light Stampin’ Blend Marker to fleck some color to the circle. I then adhered the butterflies using Mini Glue Dots to the circle.

Lastly to finish off the front of the card I stamped the sentiment from the charming Sentiments Stamp Set in VersaMark Ink. I used White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and the Heat Tool to set the stamped sentiment, then cut it out using the Sentiment Silhouettes dies. To finish it off I added some “bling” Brushed Brass Butterflies and Genial Gems!
