Stampin’ Up! Extraordinary Life Gate Fold Fun Fold Card

Today I’m sharing an easy Gate Fold Fun Fold Card featuring the Extraordinary Life Bundle and Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper. I’m sure you’ll like this Extraordinary Life Gate Fold Fun Fold it’s super easy to create! Gate Fold cards are one of those fun folds that look impressive but are actually very simple to create. Plus, opening those two front panels always adds a little surprise!

Extraordinary Life Gate Fold Fun Fold Card Details

For today’s card, I chose a bright color palette of Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, Basic Black, and a splash of Daffodil Delight. The colors coordinate beautifully with the playful patterns in the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper.

I started with a Flirty Flamingo card stock base and created the two gate fold panels. Next, I matted a pattern of the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper onto Pool Party card stock. Then, I adhered one panel to each side of the card front. For the focal point, I die cut Basic Black card stock with the frame die from the Extraordinary Life Bundle. Then, I layered it onto Flirty Flamingo card stock.

Next, I die cut the ampersand from Pool Party card stock. I also die cut the hearts from Daffodil Delight card stock for a bright pop of color. I stamped the “cherish this” sentiment inside the frame using Tuxedo Black Ink. Then, I stamped the small banner image in Tuxedo Black Ink and cut it out with the coordinating die. After slipping the banner underneath the frame, I added the other die-cut elements with Stampin’ Dimensionals. This gave the focal point some extra depth. A White Baker’s Twine bow and a few Array of Dots added the perfect finishing touches.

Inside Card Details

I matted two additional patterns of the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper onto Basic Black card stock. Then, I adhered them to the inside gate panels. I stamped the small chevron images in Tuxedo Black Ink. Finally, I stamped the “good times” sentiment and butterfly in Flirty Flamingo Ink. I love how opening the gates reveals an entirely different look while still coordinating with the front of the card.
