Stampin’ Up! Extraordinary Life Good Times Card

Today’s card is all about celebrating life’s happy moments! I love how the playful patterns in the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper pair beautifully with the notebook die to create a design that feels like a page from a treasured journal. Combined with the bold black accents, soft pastel colors, and delicate butterfly, this card is perfect for lots of celebrations! Check out my Extraordinary Life Good Times Card! I’m using this as a Thank You card after attending a party!

I started with a Basic Black card base and layered two coordinating patterns from the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper to create plenty of visual interest. Next, I die cut two different DSP patterns using the notebook die and heart die from the Extraordinary Life Bundle to build the focal point.

The sentiment was stamped onto a Basic Black banner using VersaMark Ink and heat embossed in white for a crisp pop against the dark cardstock. I added a Pool Party die-cut border using one of the Bordered in Beauty Dies to give the sentiment even more dimension.

To finish the focal point, I stamped the butterfly in Flirty Flamingo Ink and die cut it with the coordinating die. A Floral Flight Accent adds another fun layer of texture, while a few Array of Dots and a double bow tied with White Baker’s Twine complete the design.

Inside the card, I stamped “What a Party!” from the Reason To Celebrate Stamp Set and added a coordinating strip of Designer Series Paper to tie everything together. Perfect to send to a hostess after a rockin’ party!
