Stampin’ Up! Extraordinary Life Birthday Card

Happy Monday Stampers & Crafters! Welcome to the first project in this week’s Card Class To Go featuring the beautiful Extraordinary Life Bundle! This card is clean, elegant, and full of happy little details that come together effortlessly. Check out my Extraordinary Life Birthday Card!

Extraordinary Life Birthday Card Details

For this design, I paired the Extraordinary Life Bundle with the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper to create a fresh color palette that lets the butterflies take center stage. The soft blues and sunny yellow accents feel light and uplifting, while the black die-cut greenery adds just the right amount of contrast and drama. And I love that little black strip of scalloped border created with the Bordered In Beauty Dies.

The focal point begins with a Stylish Shapes circle featuring the bold “One Fine Day” sentiment. Three delicate butterflies, lightly colored with Daffodil Delight Light Stampin’ Blend, flutter around the sentiment, adding movement and a touch of whimsy.

A die-cut fern branch tucked behind the circle creates beautiful dimension, and a few Array of Dots embellishments provide the perfect finishing sparkle. I love how simple layers of patterned paper can create so much interest without overwhelming the focal point. It’s a wonderful reminder that sometimes a few coordinating patterns and thoughtful embellishments are all you need to create a card that feels polished and elegant.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Phrases & Frames Stamp set and carried over a bit of the outside design!
