Stampin’ Up! Pop Up Petals Friendship Card

If you love cards that wow when you open them, this one is going to steal your heart 💕! Today I’m sharing the third and final card from this week’s Card Class Kit To Go. I am featuring the absolutely fabulous Pop-Up Petals Bundle. This card looks sweet and simple on the outside—but open it up and surprise! A beautiful floral pop-up box steals the show. Color Palette

For this card, I paired together:
Strawberry Slush, Darling Duckling, and Garden Green
It’s a bright, cheerful combination that feels fresh, happy, and perfect for spring or summer cards.

Inside Card – The Pop Up Magic

I started by creating the inside of the card first. A panel of Basic White cardstock was scored and die cut using the largest pop-up box die to form the centerpiece.

To dress up the box, I adhered two small squares of the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper to the inside panels. Then I die cut the box flaps with Darling Duckling cardstock. I adhered the box flaps with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the back of the box.

The flowers were stamped in Tuxedo Black, Strawberry Slush, and Garden Green inks. Then die cut and attached inside the box using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. To finish the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Strawberry Slush Ink. Next I added sweet butterfly accents in Darling Duckling.

Once I completed the panel I adhered it to the inside of the card.

Card Front Details

The card base starts with Strawberry Slush cardstock. I layered two different patterns of Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper onto a Basic White panel. Then wrapped Darling Duckling Faux Linen Ribbon around the panel before adhering it to the card base.

The vase is stamped in Darling Duckling ink on Basic White cardstock. Then the flower outline was stamped in Tuxedo Black. Next I stamped the rose with using Strawberry Slush ink and the leaves stamped in Garden Green. Lastly I die cut the images with the coordinating dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sunshine Vibes Stamp Set in Strawberry Slush ink. Then I snipped the ends at an angle for a clean finish. Then I popped up all the elements with with Stampin’ Dimensionals for added depth. To finish off the card, I added a few Low Profile Sparkle Dots in Darling Duckling – Just enough “bling” to make it shine!
