Happy Monday Stampers & Crafters! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! This week I’m crafting and creating with the Watercolor Shapes Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! Today I created a very simple Watercolor Shapes Christmas Card!
This really is a simple card to put together and perfect if you have a lot of Christmas cards to make! I did use some retired Adhesive Backed Snowflakes but you could actually stamp snow using the Trees For Sale Stamp Set!
Watercolor Shapes Christmas Card Details
I started with a Basic White card base cut to 5 1/2 x 11 scored at 4 1/4. Then I layered a piece of Mint Macaron card stock cut to 5 1/4 x 4 to the card base. Next I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut a piece of Basic White card stock. I stamped the rectangle image from the Watercolor Shapes stamp set in Mint Macaron. Then I did the two-step stamping using the trees from the Trees For Sale stamp set in Mint Macaron and Shaded Spruce. Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Trees For Sale stamp set in Shaded Spruce and then adhered it using Stampin’ Dimensionals!
I would probably loose the “bling” on my card and keep it clean! I think I might make a few more of these to have on hand for Christmas!
Oh I almost forgot I did use some Wink of Stella and applied it to the Mint Macaron section of the tree for a little sparkle – kind of hard to see in the pictures though!!
