Hello Crafting Friends! I’m continuing to craft this week with the Sweet Peas Stamp Set. Today I created this cute Sweet Peas Birthday Card. I recently attended a bingo class of Ronda Wade’s and she created these fun Sweet Peas Cards using this very stamp set! I’m usually not a “cutie” stamp set girl. But I just loved all the cards so decided I wanted to share them with all of you! This is the second card in my weekly Card Class Kit To Go – get all the details below!
Sweet Peas Birthday Card
My card starts with Smokey Slate card stock. I layered a pattern of the Lilly Pond Lane Designer Series Paper to a panel of Basic White card stock.
Next I stamped the leaf image with Granny Apple Green Ink on a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock. I adhered that to the Basic White card stock panel. Then I adhered some Peach Pie Bordered Ribbon around the card and adhered a bow to the front.
Next I die cut Basic White card stock with Radiating Stitches Die (which sadly is no longer available, however you can substitute with Deckled Rectangle Dies). I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it in with the following Stampin’ Blends: Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Pretty In Pink and Gray Granite. Next I stamped the single pee with Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Lemon Lime Twist, Pretty In Pink and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends.
I stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Ink and adhered the die to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I fussy cut out the single Pea and adhered it to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Lastly I added a little “bling” with the 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots.
