Stampin’ Up! Splash & Relax Beach Card

Happy Tuesday! Nothing says summer quite like colorful pool floats, beach balls, and a day spent soaking up the sunshine! For the second card in this week’s Splash & Relax Card Class Kit To Go, I created a bright and cheerful design filled with playful summer vibes. Check out my Splash & Relax Summer Card!

Splash & Relax Summer Card Details

My color palette features Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist, and Granny Apple Green. These vibrant colors instantly remind me of a fun day by the pool. I started with a Pool Party card base. Then I embossed a coordinating Pool Party panel using the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the card base. The textured waves create the perfect backdrop for this summertime scene.

Next, I die cut Basic White cardstock using the Perennial Postage Die. I layered a colorful pattern from the Beach Boardwalk Designer Series Paper onto the postage panel and stamped the sentiment in Melon Mambo Ink.

For the focal point, I stamped the beach floats in Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist, and Granny Apple Green. After die cutting them with the coordinating dies, I arranged them across the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To add even more summer fun, I stamped coordinating beach balls in Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green. I die cut them and popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals for added depth and dimension.

For the inside I cut a strip of the matching DSP from the front and adhered it to the inside panel. Then I stamped the sentiment in Pool Party Ink.

The combination of bright colors, playful images, and textured waves creates a card that is perfect for celebrating summer, sending happy mail, or simply making someone smile.
