As the crisp air sets in, nothing feels cozier than creating a warm fall card to share with a friend. For my second card in this week’s Card Class To Go, I reached for the Rustic Centerpiece Stamp Set paired with the More Than Autumn Stamp Set to create a card full of autumn charm. I’m calling this card my Rustic Centerpiece Hello Fall card.
Rustic Centerpiece Hello Fall Card
My card base starts with rich Pecan Pie card stock. I matted a woodgrain pattern from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper to a panel of Peach Pie card stock, giving the design a rustic but warm foundation.
The focal point is the Rustic Centerpiece image, stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink and carefully fussy cut. I brought the design to life with Stampin’ Blends in Peach Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, and Pecan Pie. To anchor the design, I die cut the largest Nested Essentials Die from Peach Pie card stock, and added my centerpiece on top using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
For the sentiment, I turned to the More Than Autumn Stamp Set, stamping “Hello” in Pecan Pie on a small Nested Essentials Die cut from Basic White card stock. I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give the front extra dimension.
To finish, I tied an Old Olive Linen Thread bow and added Cajun Craze & Gold Dots for the perfect autumn sparkle.
On the inside, I stamped the heartfelt sentiment “Grateful it’s finally Fall” in Pecan Pie ink. For a playful touch, I lined the edge with stamped Real Red apples from the More Than Autumn Stamp Set.
