Stamp It Group Thanksgiving Blog Hop

Hello & Welcome to our Stamp It Group Thanksgiving Blog Hop! I’m Ann Verillo from Auburn, New York and you are visiting my blog Stamp With Ann. I love the Thanksgiving Holiday and I always make a few cards for my Sister-In-Laws who do so much to prep for our big family Thanksgiving dinner! Today I created this using the Changing Leaves Dies and Hybrid Embossing Folder!

Changing Leaves Card Details

My card starts with BlackBerry Bliss card stock. I embossed a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock with the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder. Then I adhered that to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next I die cut Very Vanilla card stock with the Spotlight On Nature Dies. I also cut the tag in Very Vanilla with the Changing Leaves Dies and stamped the sentiment from the Autumn Leaves Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink.

Next I die cut Gold Mercury Vellum using both the large leaves die and the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder. I also die cut Gold Foil Paper using the Changing Leaves Dies. Then I die cut Blackberry Bliss card stock using one of the smaller leaf dies. I die cut Very Vanilla card stock with the large leaf Changing Leaves Die.

I colored the back of the Gold Mercury Vellum with the following Stampin’ Blends: Light Old Olive, Light Cherry Cobbler and Light and Dark Blackberry Bliss. Next I adhered the vellum to the Very Vanilla die cut leaves. I adhered the circle to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I adhered the sentiment to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I arranged the leaves on the circle and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Lastly I added a little “bling” with the Transparent Adhesive Dots and added a double bow with the Gold Trim.

Card Measurements

  • Blackberry Bliss 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 and 5 1/4 x 4 & scrap for small leaves
  • Very Vanilla 4 x 4, 1 x 3 1/4 and 6 x 6
