Stampin' Up! Relaxing Waterside Father's Day Card

Happy Hump Day Stampers & Crafters! I’m closing out this week crafting with the Relaxing Waterside Bundle which I just love!! Today I created this Relaxing Waterside Father’s Day Card. Now my color palette could be changed up a little but I’m still loving the total design. So check it out!

My color palette for this project features Pool Party, Pecan Pie, and Gray Granite for a soft coastal-inspired look. The bicycle pattern from the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper adds the perfect casual touch while still keeping the design clean and masculine.

I started with a Pool Party card stock base. Then I layered a pattern from the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper onto a Pecan Pie panel before adhering it to the card front.

Next, I die cut a circle from Basic White card stock using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I stamped the grass images in Pecan Pie Ink and Pool Party Ink that was stamped off once to create a softer background effect.

For the focal point, I die cut the Adirondack chair pieces from Pool Party card stock using the dies from the Relaxing Waterside Bundle. I assembled the chair with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered it to the circle element.

Final Details

I stamped the seagull image in Gray Granite Ink on Basic White card stock and die cut it with the coordinating die. Then I stamped the book image in Pecan Pie Ink on Pecan Pie card stock and die cut it using the corresponding die. The sentiment was stamped in Pecan Pie Ink on Basic White card stock, and I bannered one end for added detail. I adhered the sentiment, book, and seagull with Stampin’ Dimensionals to create extra depth and dimension.

To finish the card, I tied a double bow using Gray Baker’s Twine and added a few 2025–2027 In Color Flat Pearls in Cloud Cover for just the right amount of “bling.”
