Stampin’ Up! Pop Up Petals Thanks Card

Today I’m excited to share the very first card in this week’s Card Class Kit To Go featuring the brand new Pop Up Petals Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This bundle is all about creating beautiful floral designs with a fun dimensional twist, and it is absolutely perfect for spring, thank you cards, and cheery everyday greetings. Today I’ve created this Pop Up Petals Thanks Card.

Pop Up Petals Card Details

For today’s card, I worked with a fresh and happy color palette of Lost Lagoon, Pecan Pie, and Darling Duckling. The card base begins with Lost Lagoon cardstock, giving it that soft, calming foundation. I layered a panel of the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper onto Pecan Pie cardstock. Then I adhered it to the front of the card for warmth and texture.

Next, I die cut Basic White cardstock using the second largest Nested Essentials Die to create a perfect frame for the focal point. I stamped the flowers in Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White cardstock. Then I colored with Darling Duckling, Lost Lagoon, and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends. After coloring, I used the coordinating die to cut them out.

The vase was stamped in Pecan Pie Ink on Basic White cardstock and die cut with the matching die. The sentiment was stamped in Pecan Pie Ink on Basic White cardstock as well. I adhered the flowers to the back of the vase with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I attached the entire arrangement to the Nested Essentials rectangle using Stampin’ Dimensionals for added depth.

I adhered the sentiment directly to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. To finish off the card, I added a double Linen Thread Bow. Don’t forget the “bling” – I added a few Neutral Matte Dots for just the right amount. sparkle.
