TGIF Friends! I’m finishing off this week crafting with the Perennial Lavender Suite. Today I created this Perennial Lavender Hugs Card. I’m absolutely loving this Suite. It has two bundles – Painted Lavender & Perennial Postage which are awesome. This is the last card for my March Card Class To Go Kit!
My card starts with Crumb Cake card stock. I matted a pattern of the Perennial Lavender Designers Series Paper to the front.
Next I die cut two different patterns from the DSP using the Perennial Postage Dies. I adhered the smaller postage stamp to the larger posted stamp with Stampin’ Seal.
Next I stamped the flowers in Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia inks. I stamped the stems in Lost Lagoon Ink. Then I die cut them out using the corresponding dies. Next I die cut the circle out using the Stylish Shapes Dies and stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape Ink.
Then I adhered the flowers to the stems with Mini Glue Dots. I adhered the flowers and the sentiment to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I used my Blending Brushes to add some Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia Ink to the Paper Butterfly Accent. I adhered the butterfly to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Lastly I tied a double bow with the Crumb Cake Bakers Twine and adhered it to the front with a Mini Glue Dot. And of course I had to add a little “bling” with the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.
