Stampin’ Up! Peace On Earth Christmas Card

This week’s Card Class To Go has been all about elegance, soft winter hues, and peaceful details—and today’s final card may be my favorite of the series. Check out my Peace On Earth Christmas Card! I am featuring the Peace On Earth Bundle once again, and this design beautifully highlights the calming color palette of Cloud Cover, Secret Sea, and Soft Green. BTW I actually think the Soft Green is more Silver LOL!

I began with a Secret Sea panel and embossed it using the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder to give the card a rich tone-on-tone texture. That embossed layer was then adhered to a Cloud Cover card base.

Next, I die cut the large label and the dove using the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper in Soft Green. I followed that with a smaller label die cut in Basic White. The sentiment was stamped in Secret Sea ink, then adhered to the Soft Green glimmer label.

I attached the layered labels to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals for depth. To complete the front of the card, I added a few Hues of Blue Flowers in Cloud Cover along with a Cloud Cover bow for a soft finishing touch.

For the inside of the card, I embossed a strip of Secret Sea cardstock with the same embossing folder and adhered it to a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Jolly Holly Stamp Set in Secret Sea ink to tie the design together.
