Stampin’ Up Jar of Joy Sending Cheer Card

This week’s Card Class Kit To Go features the charming Jar of Joy Stamp Set and the coordinating Sweet Jar Builder Punch. For the first card in this week’s kit, I created a quick and easy Christmas card that’s festive, cheerful, and easy to recreate at home. The Jar of Joy Stamp Set is perfect for capturing those small holiday details like ornaments, cookies, snowmen, and more. I hope you like the Jar of Joy Sending Cheer Card!

The color palette for today’s card is Basic Black, Real Red, and Basic White with pops of bright holiday accents. I started with a Basic Black card base and embossed a panel of Basic White cardstock using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. This adds beautiful depth and texture without overwhelming the design.

Next, I die cut Real Red cardstock with the third largest die from the Textured Notes Dies. Then I stamped the jars in Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White card stock. I stamped the ornaments in Real Red and the snowman image in Tuxedo Black and Real Red. Then I punched the lids from Basic Black cardstock to create a bold contrast.

The jars are adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals to give extra depth. To complete the card, I added Real Red and White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints and finished each jar with a double bow tied from the Real Red and White Baker’s Twine.
