Stampin’ Up! Festive Cheer Christmas Card

Sometimes the simplest designs make the biggest impact, and this cheerful Christmas card is the perfect example! Bright ornaments, playful holiday sentiments, and just a touch of sparkle come together for a clean and festive design that’s sure to brighten someone’s holiday season. This card was inspired by the wonderfully talented Heidi Collins of On Y Go Stamping. I always love putting my own spin on beautiful designs, and this one was simply too fun not to recreate!

My card begins with a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I created the playful background by stamping the “falalalala” sentiment in Pretty Peacock Ink, then added Lemon Lime Twist snowflakes and Melon Mambo diamond accents to create a festive banner across the bottom of the card.

The ornaments are the stars of this design! I stamped them in Melon Mambo, Pretty Peacock, Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lime Twist, and Granny Apple Green before die cutting each one with the coordinating dies. Gray Granite ornament toppers add a realistic metallic touch, while Gray Baker’s Twine creates the illusion that each ornament is hanging from the top of the card.

I attached each ornament with Stampin’ Dimensionals for added depth and finished everything with a few Shimmering Dots for just the right amount of holiday sparkle. Thanks for checking out today’s Festive Cheer Christmas Card.
