Stampin’ Up! Easter Basket Happy Easter Card

Happy Wednesday crafters! Sometimes the Designer Series Paper really does all the work for you—and today’s card is the perfect example of that. This final card from this week’s Weekly Card Class Kit To Go features the Easter Basket Bundle and the Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper. It cames together so quickly thanks to the beautiful scenic pattern. Check out this super easy Easter Basket Happy Easter Card.

I started with a Peach Pie card stock base. Then I cut one of the ready-to-use scenes from the Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper. Next adhered directly to the card base. Which instantly creates a sweet springtime background.

Next, I stamped the bunny and chick images in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the chick with Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends for a soft, warm look. For the bunny, I used Ivory Stampin’ Blends and kept the coloring light and airy, leaving some areas uncolored for dimension. A touch of Pretty In Pink is added to the inside of the ear for a gentle pop of color.

The sentiment was stamped in Peach Pie Ink on Basic White card stock. Then I die cut it out using the Words of Beauty die. The sentiment and chick were adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The bunny is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals to add depth. To finish the card, I tied a sweet bow using the Balmy Blue Gingham Ribbon. And don’t forget some embellishments. I added a few Easter Assortment embellishments for just the right amount of sparkle.

This card is proof that you don’t need a lot of layers or steps to create something special. The Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper makes it easy to create a beautiful Easter card in no time at all.
