Stamp It Group New Years Blog Hop

Hello & Welcome to our Stamp It Group New Years Theme Blog Hop! I’m Ann Verillo from Auburn, New York and you are visiting my blog Stamp With Ann. I love celebrating News Year Eve for 2 reasons first and foremost it’s my Birthday and second it’s just a lovely time to welcome in the New Year! Today I created this Festive New Years Eve card with the Cheers & Sips Stamp Set and a few different dies! Pssst I didn’t have any sentiments that said Happy New Year – so I got creative!

New Years Eve Card Details

My card starts with Basic Black card stock. I embossed Basic Beige card stock with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder and adhered it to the the card base. Next I die cut Basic Black card stock with the largest Banner Die from the Nested Essentials Dies. Then I die cut Season of Elegance Designer Series Paper with the 2nd largest Banner Die from the Nested Essentials Dies. I matted the DSP to the black banner. Then I adhered that to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next I die cut Gold Foil with Foam Adhesive Sheets using the Birthday Celebration Dies (On Last Chance List). I adhered the numbers to the card base and loved how they popped up with the foam adhesive! Then I die cut Basic Beige card stock with the smallest Stylish Shape banner die. I stamped the sentiment from the Cheers & Sips (last chance) Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next I die cut Gold Foil with the stars image from the Sunshine Vibes Dies a few times and adhered them to the card front. I love how it added a little pop to the card! Lastly I tied a bow with the Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon and adhered it to the front with a Mini Glue Dot. And of course don’t forget a little “bling” I added a few Neutral Matte Dots in Black to the front!

• Basic Black – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 score at 4-1/4 & 3 1/4 x 4
• Basic Beige – 4 x 5 1/4 & 1 x 2
• Gold Foil Sheets – 2 x 3, 1 x 2 & 3/4 x 1-1/2
• Seasons of Elegance Designer Series Paper – 2 x 3
