Stamp It Group Mother’s Day Blog Hop

Today I’m sharing a special card created to celebrate the amazing women who mean so much to us. Whether you’re honoring a mom, grandmother, or someone who’s been like a mom to you, a handmade card is such a meaningful way to show your love and appreciation. Since my mother passed several years ago, I’m sending this card to my Sister-In-Law in Georgia! This card features the Lovely Arrangement Bundle.

Mother’s Day Card Details

My card starts with a Petal Pink card base. I matted a pattern of the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper to a Secret Sea panel and adhered it to the card base.

Next I stamped the flowers in Secrete Sea Ink on Basic White Card stock. I outlined the inside of the flowers with the light Cloud Cover Stampin’ Blend. Then I stamped the leaves in Old Olive Ink. I die cut them with the corresponding dies. Then I die cut Secret Sea card stock with the circles die. Next I die cut Basic White card stock with the label die and stamped the sentiment in Secret Sea Ink.

Now let’s put it all together. I adhered the circles to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered the leaves and the two outside flowers to the front with glue. Next I popped up the large flower and the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish off the front, I added a bow with the Secret Sea Bordered Ribbon. Then of course I added a little “bling” with the Moody Palette Glossy Dots.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Phrases & Frames Stamp Set (avail 5/5) in Secret Sea Ink. I thought this sentiment was appropriate for a lovely Mother’s Day wish! Lastly I stamped a few more flowers in Secret Sea Ink.
