Today I’m so excited to share the card I created to honor the incredible moms in our lives. Whether it’s your mother, grandmother, or a special mom-figure, there’s no better way to show your appreciation than with a handmade card from the heart.

For this card, I reached for the Delightful Wishes Bundle and the always-versatile Alphabet à La Mode Dies to create a cheerful and heartfelt design. Here’s how it came together.

Card Details

I started with a Pool Party card base for a soft and refreshing background.Then, I layered a bright floral pattern from the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper onto a panel of Lemon Lolly cardstock. I added another layer using a gingham pattern from the same DSP collection, mounted onto Pool Party cardstock for contrast.

The word “MOM” was die cut from Pool Party cardstock using the Alphabet à La Mode Dies and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For embellishments, I die cut blooms in Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Peach Pie, and Old Olive using the Delightful Wishes Dies. I tucked in the leaves with Mini Glue Dots, popped up the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and added a sweet double bow of Linen Thread.

A few Adhesive-Backed Dots for Days finished off the card with the perfect touch of sparkle.

The inside features a simple but heartfelt sentiment: “Wishing you all the best” – stamped in Pool Party and Daffodil Delight inks. I added a matching strip of the Floral Delight DSP to tie the whole card together beautifully.
