TGIF! I’m finishing off this week crafting with the Layering Diorama Dies. Today’s card is the Layering Diorama Christmas Card. I couldn’t go a week without making a Christmas Card!! This is an easy card to make too!
Layering Diorama Christmas Card Details
I started off with a Shimmer White card base. Then I cut a piece of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4 ” and used the 2nd largest Diorama Die to cut out the frame. Next I cut a piece of Evening Evergreen card stock to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4 and used the 4th largest Diorama Die to cut out the frame.
Then I adhered the two pieces together with Stampin’ Seal and adhered to the card base with the same. Next I stamped the tree images from the Peaceful Deer stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink stamping off once to get a lighter color tree. Then I stamped the snow image in Pool Party Ink stamping off once. I also stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow Ink and cut it out with Layering Circle Dies.
Then I stamped the Deer from the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Blank Ink and colored it in with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. I then fussy cut the deer out! For a girl that doesn’t like fussy cutting I sure did enough of it this weekend!
I attached the deer and sentiment to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next I added a little bling using Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
For the inside I used the same DSP that was cut out and layered another piece of Shimmer White cut out with the 5th largest Diorama Die. I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow Ink to finish it off!
Thanks for swinging by today! I hope you liked my Layering Diorama Christmas Card! You can check out what I did early this week HERE and HERE! Cheers – Have a great weekend!
