TGIF Stampers & Crafters! I’m finishing off this week with my Boughs Of Holly Season’s Greetings Christmas Card! Remember it’s Christmas in July. The Boughs Of Holly Suite is featured in the July – December Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up! I’ve been using the Suite to craft and create this week.
Boughs of Holly Seasons Greeting’s Recipe
- Start with a Basic White card stock 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
- Layer a piece of Soft Succulent card stock cut at 5 1/4 x 4 to the front with Stampin’ Seal
- Cut a piece of Boughs of Holly Designer Series paper to 5 x 3 3/4 and adhere with Stampin’ Seal
- Cut a piece of Basic White card stock to 3 3/8 x 4 1/2 and emboss with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder
- Adhere the to the DSP with Stampin’ Seal
- Stamp the leaf from the Leaves of Holly stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink and cut out using the Holly Berry Dies
- Cut out two more leaves using the Holly Berry Dies in Basic White card stock and Evening Evergreen card stock
- Cut the tag out using the Holly Berry Dies in Basic White card stock
- Stamp the sentiment from the Leaves of Holly stamp set in Evening Evergreen on the tag
- Adhere the Basic White leaf and Evening Evergreen leaf to the Soft Succulent leaf using Multi Purpose Glue (positioned to the side)
- Adhere the leaf and sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals
I love how this turned out and it is really easy to put together!
For the inside I simply used some more Holly Berry Designer Series Paper cut at 4 x 1 and adhered to the inside with Stampin’ Seal. To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment on the inside with Evening Evergreen Ink.
