TGIF Stampers & Crafters! Can you believe it’s almost Christmas where has the time gone! I’m finishing off this week with the Adorable Owls Stamp Set. Adorable Owls Birthday Card Details
My card starts off with Cherry Cobbler card stock base. Then I layered Basic Black to the base with Stampin’ Seal. Next I used the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper (which is unfortunately no longer available) and adhered it the front of the card.
Then I cut an oval out using the Framed Floret Dies in Basic Black and adhered it to the front with Stampin’ Seal. Next I stamped the owl on Basic White card stock with Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I colored the owl in using Stamin’ Blends – Ivory, Bronze, Crumb Cake, & Smokey Slate. I then Fussy Cut the owl out and adhered the owl with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock to 2 1/2″ x 1″ and then cut the DSP to 2 1/4″ x 3/4″. Next stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink on the DSP and adhered it to the Basic Black strip. Then I adhered it to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Lastly I finished it off with a few Classic Matte Dots!
For the inside I layered a piece of Basic White card stock, stamped the owl and colored it using same Stampin’ Blends. Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink.
