Stampin’ Up! Oh My Fright Cross Over Gate Fold Card

Happy Fun Fold Friday! Today I’m sharing a spooky-cute Halloween card featuring the Oh My Fright Bundle! I created an Oh My Fright Cross Over Gate Fold, and I think this might be one of those fun folds that looks just as cute open as it does closed.

The front of the card features two different patterns of Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper. I love how the ghosts, bats and stripes work together for a playful Halloween look. Then, of course, I had to add a few more spooky friends!

I added the little ghost along with the stamped and die-cut bat. The “Boo to You” sentiment becomes the focal point in the center of the card. A few Adhesive-Backed Ghosts & Bats embellishments add just the right finishing touch.

The Fun Is in the Fold!

The crossover design is what makes this card extra fun. The upper panel extends from one side while the lower panel extends from the opposite side. When the card is closed, the two panels overlap to create the full card front. But when you open it up — surprise!

Both sides swing away to reveal the inside of the card. I stamped Happy Halloween in Tuxedo Black Ink on the Basic White. Then I added a strip of coordinating Designer Series Paper along the bottom. It’s such a fun way to add a little unexpected WOW to a Halloween card without making the design overly complicated.
