Stampin' Up! Scalloped Blooms Thinking Of You Card

Hello Stampers & Crafters! Today I’m sharing the second card in this week’s Card Class Kit To Go featuring the Scalloped Blooms Bundle. For this card, I was inspired by Verity from Inkybutterfly. I loved the clean layout and the way the colorful flowers become the star of the card. And guess what? There’s not a single piece of Designer Series Paper on this card! Sometimes cardstock, dies and a few simple details are all you need. Check out my Scalloped Blooms Thinking of You card.

Scalloped Blooms Thinking of You Details

I started with a Basic White card base. Then, I stamped the sentiment in Granny Apple Green Ink on a Basic White cardstock panel. Next, I matted the panel with Granny Apple Green cardstock. I love that tiny border of green. It ties everything together beautifully.

For a little extra detail behind the flowers, I die cut Basic White cardstock four times using the small Perennial Postage Die. I adhered the four postage pieces to the card front to create a subtle grid. Then it was time for those colorful blooms!

I die cut Basic White cardstock four times using the smallest Scalloped Blooms Die. Next, I used the second-to-smallest Scalloped Blooms Die to cut flowers from: Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo, Azure Afternoon & Fresh Freesia card stock. I layered the Basic White centers onto each colorful bloom.

Next, I die cut Granny Apple Green cardstock twice with the leaf die. I separated the leaves and tucked them behind the flowers for another pop of green. Each finished flower was adhered over the postage die cuts with Stampin’ Dimensionals. That little bit of height really helps the flowers stand out against the clean white background.

Finally, I added a Garden Epoxy Dot to the center of each flower. They add the perfect finishing touch!
